The goal of this blog is to share knowledge about the Olympic Games, both ancient and modern, while also providing an informed analysis and critique of the various elements that make up today’s Olympics.
The author of this blog holds a BA in both American Studies and Peace Studies from the University of Notre Dame. She wrote her senior thesis on the Opening Ceremonies of the 1996 and 2002 Olympic Games, was briefly a member of the US Olympic Development Team for luge in high school, and is a lifelong fan and analyst of the Olympics. She currently works as an Associate Producer for a non-fiction media company in Boston.
